Adult Group Walks

If you would like to form a small walking group, OK Let’s Walk will provide a hillwalking instructor who is familiar with all the areas in the Mournes that you might like to cover. We will provide you with all clothing and safety equipment required, we will carry out a risk assessment of the area and provide maps, compasses and route plans. Groups can choose from a range of areas they would like to cover over a period of time (e.g. monthly).

We can suggest a large range of routes to be walked that include the most scenic viewpoints and points of interest, ranging from easy to difficult. All these routes have been risk assessed so you will feel safe and confident during your journey.

It’s important to feel safe when walking so Ok Let’s Walk will provide your group with a qualified instructor and all clothing and safety equipment necessary.

Children's Day Walks

A range of Day Walks can be provided for groups of children. These walks will be in the vicinity of Slieve Gullion and the Mourne Mountains. Walks will vary in degrees of length and difficulty, tailor made to suit the participants. Walks will take place during school closure days, weekends and school holidays. On day walks skills such as campcraft, cooking and first aid will be taught.

Groups will be small in size as this provides time to interact and form friendships with other children.

Children's Daycamp

Day camp is a new initiative that gives young people the opportunity to experience the benefits and excitement of an overnight camping expedition during daylight hours. Participants leave on a day walk fully equipped for a camping trip. During the day they pitch tents and learn to use cooking equipment. They learn to develop team building and communication skills in their tents through playing games and discussion. They return home before dark.

Ok Let’s walk have a selection of camping and hiking gear that is available for groups to hire for their walks or expeditions.
